Project Aashirwad | An initiative by Sunshine Social Foundation
Affordable Healthcare. Dignified Ageing. A Brighter Tomorrow.
For many middle-class families, finding affordable pain-relief and physiotherapy services for an older parent or loved one is not easy.
Through Project Aashirwad, Sunshine Social Foundation is working to make this care more accessible through subsidised services, community health camps and partner physiotherapy clinics.
Because growing older shouldn't mean compromising on dignity and care.
The Problem
When Care Feels Out of Reach, Families Face Difficult Choices.
Imagine wanting the best for an ageing parent, but worrying about whether the family can afford the care they need.
For some middle-class families, the cost of private healthcare makes seeking pain-relief or physiotherapy services difficult. Care may be delayed, even when a family wants to do everything it can to help.
The burden goes beyond money. There is also the worry of seeing someone you love struggle while trying to find care within your means.
The barrier is often the cost, not the willingness to care.
The Problem We Solve
Why Subsidised Care Matters
Affordable care can make a meaningful difference to families who are otherwise hesitant to seek support because of cost.
Through Project Aashirwad, Sunshine Social Foundation aims to make pain-relief and physiotherapy services more accessible by offering care at up to 75% subsidised cost, subject to programme eligibility and availability.
The subsidy is intended to reduce the financial burden of accessing appropriate care. It's about giving more older adults and families an opportunity to seek help without carrying the full cost of private services.
Because care should be easier to reach, especially when families need it most.
